Description:

To support investment projects in the agricultural, forestry, fisheries, food and rural development sectors, through the provision of guarantees for loans to be granted by the Basque Institute of Finance and collaborating financial institutions, and interest rate subsidies to reduce the financial cost of these loans.

 

The lines of aid that are proposed are the following:

 

  1. Provision of guarantees, for initial risk finance investment projects presented by SMEs in the agricultural, fisheries, food and rural development sectors.
  2. Provision of guarantees for investment projects submitted by companies in the agricultural, fisheries, food and rural development sectors.
  3. Interest rate rebate to reduce financial costs.

Description:

To promote the competitiveness of professional organizations of the ISV and of fisheries and aquaculture enterprises in the field of marketing of fishery and aquaculture products with the aim of:

 

  1. Creation of producer organisations and their associations and inter-branch associations.
  2. To find new markets and improve conditions for the marketing of fishery and aquaculture products, in particular:
    • Species with potential for commercialization.
    • Unwanted catches landed from commercial stocks in accordance with technical measures, in accordance with Article 15 of Regulation 1380/2013 and Article 8(2) of Regulation 1379/2013.
    • Fishery and aquaculture products obtained using methods that have a low impact on the environment.
  3. The promotion of quality and added value by facilitating:
    • The application for registration of a particular product and the adaptation of the operators concerned to the relevant compliance and certification requirements.
    • Certification and promotion of sustainable fishery and aquaculture products, including products from small-scale coastal fisheries and environmentally friendly processing methods.
    • Direct marketing of fishery products by fishermen engaged in small-scale coastal fishing or by fishermen on foot.
    • The presentation and packaging of products.
  4. Market research.
  5. Conducting regional, communication and advocacy campaigns to raise public awareness of sustainable fishery and aquaculture products.
  6. Improved traceability.
  7. Support investments for the improvement of the transformation of the impact on the environment, including fishery and aquaculture products that:
    • contribute to energy savings or the reduction of the impact on the environment, including waste treatment.
    • improve safety, hygiene and health and working conditions.
    • assist in the processing and marketing of commercial fish catches that cannot be used for human consumption.
    • relate to the processing of organic aquaculture products
    • refer to the processing of by-products obtained in processing activities.
    • lead to new or better products, new or better processes, or new or better management and organizational systems.

Description:

To promote the competitiveness of fishing companies, boosting the added value or quality of fishery products, and for this purpose aid may be granted to:

  1. Investments that increase the value of fishery products, in particular by allowing fishermen to carry out the processing, marketing and direct sale of their own catches, this being understood as the sale that is not carried out by auction, but by means of agreements, contracts or any type of transaction, which must be previously registered at the fish market or authorized establishment and be made known to the Basque Government’s Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture.
  2. Innovative investments on board to improve the quality of fishery products.

Aid programme aimed at promoting product and/or process innovation in industrial SMEs and services related to the industrial product-process located in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, through two lines:

  1. Line 1, implementation of innovation projects in the areas of specialisation framed in the Euskadi 2030 Science, Technology and Innovation Plan
  2. Line 2, implementation of key complementary actions to promote innovation.

Description:

Support for industrial companies and related services linked to the industrial product-process, which lead to an improvement in the level of environmental protection, through decarbonisation, in their industrial production processes and, therefore, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

 

This program helps you:

  • Purchase more efficient and energy-efficient machinery, equipment and facilities to optimize industrial processes.
  • Replace or reduce the consumption of fossil fuels through the use of hydrogen from renewable sources or fuels from biomass.
  • Acquire digital systems for controlling and saving energy consumption.
  • Electrify thermal processes (heat pump and others).
  • Invest in waste heat recovery systems.
  • Improve the air conditioning or heating systems of the industrial plant to be more efficient.
  • Make investments in new facilities or process lines that do not yet exist.
  • Reduce greenhouse gas emissions through projects that help:
    • Use new sustainable and/or secondary raw materials.
    • Management and/or recovery of industrial waste.
    • Substitution of fluorinated gases.
